Night at the Museum

Join Emily Ballew Neff (Yale ’85) for a behind-the-scenes tour of
American Art Galleries at Museum of Fine Arts Houston
A joint event with the Princeton Club of Houston

Don’t miss this sequel to Dr. Neff’s enormously popular tour of MFAH’s temporary exhibits. This time she will take us on a behind-the-scenes tour of the museum’s permanent collection of American art. As one famous critic observed, “Exhibitions come and go. They’re one-night stands. Falling in love with the permanent collection is how the public makes a long-term commitment to the museum that houses those works.”
The evening will begin with wine and hors d’oeuvres followed by a power point presentation and tour.

Date: Thursday, February 19, 2009
Time: 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.
6:00 – reception, 7:00 – presentation, 7:30 - tour
Location: Museum of Fine Arts, Houston
Audrey Jones Beck Building (corner of Bissonnet and Main)
American General Conference Room on Mezzanine Level

Note: Seating is limited to first 100 people who sign up

Feb Club Comes to Houston, February 18th!

You might be sad that Mory's is closed, but come to Feb Club Houston and you can experience the real Mory's Cup tradition without bad food and freezing weather.

Calling all Yalies in the Houston area: Feb Club Houston will take place on February 18th, 8-10 PM at the Mezzanine Lounge.

With a real Mory's cup, the drink recipes and the song (in addition to a full bar, of course), it will be a great time even if you never went to Mory's while you were at Yale. Sabrina Howell (Davenport '08) is the host. We'll be upstairs.

Address:
Mezzanine Lounge
2200 Southwest Fwy (between Kirby and S Shepherd)

Houston, TX 77098

Please RSVP on the Feb Clubs website (click on Texas Night) at http://febclub.webs.com/.

If you have any questions, contact Sabrina Howell (Davenport '08) at howell.sabrina@gmail.com
